ZOTA shall operate within the statutory regulations and professional principles of practice that govern the Oil/Gas and Servicing corporate bodies both in Nigeria and Overseas. Its operations shall be in full compliance with Government agents’ regulations like Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), Federal Ministry of Environment (FMENV), Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment and others.
The company recognizes the importance of environmental promotion. It shall work towards keeping the environment as natural as possible by ensuring that its operations do not cause the release of toxic substances or pollutant wastes into the environment.

ZOTA management shall not relent on its commitment to promote the health welfare of those in its employment. Preventive and Curative Occupational health management plan shall always be put in place. It shall put up measures to identify those hazards or risk sources that could pose as threat to life and assets and remove or reduce it to AS LOW AS REASONABLY PRACTICABLE (ALARP).
ZOTA shall make effort to cooperate with the host communities. It shall integrate them in its Community Development Programmes and support meaningful projects within its limited resources. It shall uphold the culture of peace and mutual coexistence and understanding. It shall undertake dialogue as the sure means of settling differences with interest groups and stake holders.
The company shall monitor and review this policy from time to time for continuous improvement, to suit the existing situations and prevailing occurrences and realities.
